Una Voce San Bernardino Update - January 5, 2009
1. Website: The website is up: www.unavocesb.org
2. List: If you have not added your name to the list of 129 people (currently) who want the Latin Mass in your area/city, please email me at laurencegonzaga@gmail.com. The list can be viewed here.
3. Mass: I spoke with a priest the other day who I heard was interested in saying the extraordinary form, and made the bold inquiry. He said, he has said the Latin Novus Ordo Mass for Catholic high school students, at their request. So, he was considering the extraordinary Latin form. He asked how many I think would attend. I said, we could get a good sized group, I think. It may not be regular, but we could see how this goes, ad experimentum. If you are interested, it would be in Riverside, near St. Francis de Sales and St. Catherine of Alexandria. Vote for ALL the times you would be available to go to this Mass, perhaps regularly. I will then give Father this list and let him make the decision. Click here to participate: http://doodle.com/97p4gkk3axdtr7i7
4. DVD: I requested DVD's made by the FSSP and EWTN to be sent to 4 priests locally. I received word from Keep the Faith and Latin Mass Magazine that these DVD's have been sent.
5. Meeting: We will have our next Una Voce Meeting on Thursday, January 15, at 7 PM at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 526 Orange St, Redlands, CA
6. Retreat: Una Voce LA is having a retreat on Saturday, January 10 from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM, which has 2 conferences, a Latin extraordinary form Mass, Confession, Benediction, and Rosary. It is $10 and it is at St. Therese Church in Alhambra. Let me know if you want to carpool with us. We have 2 more seats in the "trad bus" (Carlos' SUV). Walk-ins are welcome. 510 N. El Molino St., Alhambra, CA 91801. Those carpooling with us will meet at the Starbucks on Hospitality Lane near Chili's, 525 E Hospitality Ln # D., at 8:00 AM.
Sit nomen Domini benedictum.
